Local anchor receives his first colonoscopy
When FOX 6 Anchor Jeh Jeh Pruitt was interviewing Dr. Katie Novitski, a St. Vincent’s surgeon, she informed viewers the American Cancer Society recommends people at average risk of colorectal cancer start regular screening at age 45. He mentioned he was over 50 and had never had a colonoscopy.
The wheels were put in motion, and Jeh Jeh was set up with a primary care appointment with Dr. Allison Chappell at St. Vincent's Primary Care Greystone Village. From there, he was referred to Dr. Charles Dasher at St. Vincent's One Nineteen for his colonoscopy.
